Balcony Collapse in Jerusalem's Rehavia Leaves One Unconscious and Three Lightly Injured
A balcony collapsed above a business on Keren Kayemet LeIsrael Street in the Rehavia neighborhood of Jerusalem on Monday afternoon. Emergency services, including firefighters, police, and Magen David Adom (MDA) paramedics, responded to the scene to rescue those trapped and treat the injured.
MDA reported that one man was trapped unconscious under the debris, while three others sustained light injuries and received medical attention on site. Firefighters from the HaUma station conducted searches and rescue operations amid concerns that additional individuals might be trapped beneath the rubble.
Jerusalem District police worked alongside all emergency teams to secure the area, isolate the scene, and close nearby roads to facilitate rescue efforts.
