Naked Intruder Eats and Sleeps in Ramat Gan Man's Bed Before Police Remove Him

A Ramat Gan resident, Eli Domatov, returned home on July 20 around 3 p.m. to find a naked man lying in his bed. The intruder had broken into the apartment while Domatov was at work, ate food from the fridge, and used the bathroom, behaving as if he owned the home. When confronted, the man insisted the apartment was his and refused to leave, telling Domatov to get out. Domatov, who was alone at the time, called the police, who had to forcibly remove the man from the apartment, covering him with a blanket as he was completely unclothed.

Initial police questioning suggested the intruder might be a psychiatric patient who escaped from a medical facility or someone with mental health issues. Domatov, a married father of four, expressed shock and relief that his children were not home during the incident. Despite the frightening situation, he refrained from using violence due to the man's condition. Domatov also voiced concern that this could happen to others in the area, describing the event as alarming and unusual.

The intruder was taken into custody and transferred for professional medical evaluation and treatment. Authorities continue to investigate how the man gained access to the apartment.
