Hapoel Tel Aviv Targets Brazilian Winger Christian Barletta from Second Division

Hapoel Tel Aviv is seeking to strengthen its attacking lineup following the departure of Luizão Luiz. The club's leading candidate to fill the gap is 25-year-old Brazilian winger Christian Barletta, currently playing for Recife in Brazil's second division. Barletta, who primarily operates on the right wing with his left foot, can also play as a left winger or attacking midfielder. He began his career in Brazil's lower leagues and has played for several clubs, including Corinthians and Ceará, before joining Recife two years ago.

This season, Barletta is having one of the best campaigns of his career, scoring 11 goals and providing eight assists in 31 appearances across all competitions. In the Brazilian second division alone, he has netted eight goals and contributed three assists in 16 matches. Over his career, he has accumulated 89 appearances in Brazil's second tier with 24 goals and seven assists, alongside 37 appearances in the top division, scoring twice. Negotiations between Barletta and Hapoel Tel Aviv are ongoing as the club looks to finalize the signing.
