Man and Woman Drown in Separate Incidents at Bat Yam and Hadera Beaches Within an Hour
On the afternoon of July 26, two drowning incidents occurred within an hour at beaches in Bat Yam and Hadera, Israel. A woman in her 50s was pulled unconscious from the water at HaSela Beach in Bat Yam. Magen David Adom (MDA) paramedics arrived promptly and continued lifesaving efforts including CPR and defibrillation. She was transported to Wolfson Hospital in critical condition with ongoing resuscitation.
Less than an hour later, around 5 p.m., MDA received another drowning report at the Fishermen's Beach in Hadera. Paramedics from the Sharon district provided advanced resuscitation to a man approximately 45 years old, whose condition was also declared critical. Both victims were treated on site with prolonged CPR efforts.
These back-to-back drowning emergencies highlight the dangers at local beaches despite rescue efforts. Authorities have not released further updates on the patients' conditions or the circumstances leading to the drownings.
