U.S. President Donald Trump wrote on Truth that he is canceling the strikes planned for tonight in Iran. He wrote, "Based on the fact that the discussions with Iran were brought to the highest level of the Iranian leadership and approved, I canceled, as President of the United States, the planned strikes and bombings against Iran this evening."

He added, "The discussions and final points were approved, both in principle and in detail, by all the parties involved, including the United States, Israel, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Turkey, Pakistan, Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan, Egypt and others. The naval blockade will remain in full effect until the completion of this deal, the time and place of signing will be announced as soon as possible."
