During the demonstration at Gaha Junction, a protester was hit by a passing vehicle and was evacuated for medical treatment in moderate condition. The driver, a 22-year-old resident of Qalansawe, turned herself in to the police shortly after the incident.
She was detained for questioning and will be interviewed by the Tel Aviv District traffic accident investigators.
During the protest held today, Thursday, in the afternoon at Gaha Junction, a protester was injured after being hit by a vehicle passing through the area. According to medical officials, the injured man was evacuated for medical treatment in moderate condition.
According to a police statement, the driver involved in the incident later turned herself in to police forces. Officers detained her for questioning and carried out the initial steps required to clarify the circumstances of the case.
The driver, 22 and a resident of Qalansawe, will be brought in for questioning by the Tel Aviv District traffic accident investigation unit, which will examine the circumstances of the collision and continue investigating the incident.
