First report: Mossad chief Roman Gofman has appointed a new deputy for the organization. He is a veteran and highly regarded operations officer who rose through the ranks of the Mossad and has held a series of senior positions over the years. His name will not be published because of the nature of the role. The appointment comes after Gofman recently decided to end the tenure of the previous deputy, as part of a move intended to allow him to fill key positions with trusted associates.
