Despite his recent contract extension, Motley is reportedly being pursued by Red Star Belgrade, a team that has seen several big men depart this summer, including Joel Bolomboy, who signed with Villeurbanne, veteran Dontas Motiejunas, and former Maccabi Tel Aviv player Hassiel Rivera, who struggled with injuries throughout the season. Motley's new contract, reportedly worth around 5 million euros in total, was first revealed by Sport 5.
