Austrian Defender Emanuel Eiv Faces Conflict at Sturm Graz Ahead of Possible Move to Maccabi Haifa

Maccabi Haifa is preparing for the upcoming season and has identified 25-year-old Austrian defender Emanuel Eiv as a potential new signing. According to these reports, the club demoted Eiv to their reserve team and barred him from training with the first team, prompting frustration from the player.

In response, Eiv contacted the Austrian players' union, which intervened and secured his reinstatement to the first team. The chairman of the players' union publicly condemned the club's treatment of Eiv, stating that he was denied access to the locker room and had his locker emptied of personal belongings. The union described the club's behavior as "bullying of the highest order" and indicated they possess further evidence of misconduct.
