Jerusalem Court Extends Detention of Six Suspects in Nahalot Murder Case

The Jerusalem Magistrate's Court approved the police request to extend the detention of six suspects involved in a violent incident that resulted in the death of a 19-year-old man in the Nahalot neighborhood. The suspects, including five teenagers and one young woman accused of aiding after the fact, were brought to court by investigators from the Crime Fighting Unit of the Zion District in Jerusalem. The fatal stabbing occurred during a dispute in a rented apartment on Shirazli Street, which escalated into a violent altercation. The victim, Shalom Razi from Givat Ze'ev, was stabbed in the abdomen, and another young man was injured in the hand. Despite prolonged resuscitation efforts by medical teams at the scene, Razi was pronounced dead at Shaare Zedek Medical Center.

The police emphasized that the investigation is ongoing with intensive efforts to clarify the circumstances and bring all involved to justice. The court's decision to extend the suspects' detention aims to allow further investigative actions necessary to uncover the truth behind the incident that shocked Jerusalem over the weekend.
