Timoukou Diarra Set to Join Kasimpasa After Leaving Hapoel Tel Aviv Move

Timoukou Diarra, once expected to be a major summer signing for Hapoel Tel Aviv, is now set to join Turkish club Kasimpasa instead. The Malian winger, who had been close to signing with the Israeli team for a second stint, decided to leave his current club, French side Reims, due to limited playing time. Reims has agreed to the transfer terms, and the move is expected to be finalized in the coming days.

Hapoel Tel Aviv had hoped Diarra's previous experience playing in Israel and his connection with captain Fernan Mayembo would help secure the deal. However, those efforts were unsuccessful. Kasimpasa finished 13th in the Turkish league last season and will not participate in European competitions this year. Diarra played in France's second division last season, making 29 appearances with four goals and four assists.
