When asked if Gantz had called him, Tropper replied that Gantz did not call but had publicly expressed his congratulations. He firmly declined to elaborate on their connection, especially on the radio.

Tropper was also questioned about his stance regarding former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's relationships with other political figures, such as Gadi Eisenkot and Naftali Bennett. He stated he holds a principled opposition to Netanyahu, asserting that anyone in leadership on October 7 should step down due to ultimate responsibility for recent events.

Responding to claims that he acts as a proxy for either Eisenkot or Netanyahu, Tropper rejected these labels, emphasizing that he represents a large constituency seeking a new political home. He described this group as deeply affected by recent years but still hopeful for the future.
