Israeli Forces Kill Terrorist in South Lebanon Clash During Building Search
Israeli reserve soldiers from the Yiftach Brigade (679), operating under the operational command of Division 91 in southern Lebanon, encountered a Hezbollah terrorist during a thorough search of a building in the Bint Jbeil area on Tuesday. This area was the site of a previous clash last Thursday, in which an Israeli reserve soldier was seriously wounded. During the search, the terrorist opened fire on the troops, who immediately returned heavy fire to neutralize the threat. According to Channel 7, the terrorist was killed by a company headquarters soldier, and a second terrorist was captured. The intense exchange of fire inside the building also resulted in the death of a canine from the Oketz Unit that was assisting in the search mission.
