IDF Fighters Contradict Official Account, Claim They Killed Terrorist in Lebanon Clash

Contrary to the Israel Defense Forces' official statement that a soldier from the Oketz unit killed a terrorist during a clash in Bint Jbeil, fighters from the brigade involved have provided a different account of the events. According to these soldiers, the forces, including the Oketz unit, were deployed around the area when they came under fire, resulting in the death of an Oketz dog. During the encounter, the soldier fired two shots toward the source of the fire before the unit withdrew. Subsequently, the brigade fighters raided the location.

About an hour later, a terrorist surrendered to the forces. Later, a commander and a fighter from the brigade encountered another terrorist equipped with a vest and combat gear, whom they then killed. This version challenges the IDF's initial claim that the terrorist was killed directly by the Oketz soldier during the initial firefight.
