Israeli Soldier Kills Militant in South Lebanon Clash as Attack Dog Dies
Israeli reserve forces from Division 91 operating in the Bint Jbeil area of southern Lebanon killed a Hezbollah militant who opened fire on them during a building search on Tuesday. The incident occurred in the same building where a previous clash took place last Thursday, resulting in a serious injury to a reserve soldier. During the search, a Hezbollah militant inside the structure fired at the Israeli forces. An Israeli female combatant from the Oketz unit returned fire and neutralized the attacker. Tragically, an Israeli attack dog was also killed in the exchange. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) stated it will continue to act to eliminate threats against its troops and prevent Hezbollah from harming Israeli civilians.
