Israeli Combat Dog Kills Hezbollah Terrorist in South Lebanon Clash
An Israeli combat dog from the Oketz unit killed a Hezbollah terrorist during a confrontation in Bint Jbeil, southern Lebanon, yesterday. The incident occurred while reservist forces from the Yiftach Brigade (679), under the command of Division 91, were conducting a building search. The terrorist opened fire on the Israeli forces, prompting the soldier to return fire and neutralize the threat. A reservist was severely injured in a related incident last Thursday. The combat dog was killed during the encounter, but no other Israeli personnel were harmed, according to the IDF spokesperson.
