IDF Kills Armed Militant After Chase in Southern Lebanon Near Majdal Zoun
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) released footage of an operation in which soldiers from Brigade 551, under the command of Division 91, identified and neutralized an armed militant in the Majdal Zoun area of southern Lebanon. The incident occurred on Saturday when the forces spotted the militant carrying a weapon within the security zone. Following the identification, the troops opened fire and pursued the militant. After extensive searches, the militant was killed to eliminate the threat. The IDF stated it will continue to act to remove any threats against its forces and will not allow the Hezbollah terrorist organization to harm Israeli civilians.
