Unknown Assailant Smashes Haaretz Office Door with Bricks in Tel Aviv

An unidentified individual threw two bricks at the glass entrance door of the Haaretz newspaper office in Tel Aviv late Wednesday night, shattering the glass before fleeing the scene. Security camera footage shows the first brick failing to break the door, but the second brick succeeded in breaking the glass. Although no formal complaint has yet been filed, police have contacted Haaretz and initiated an investigation into the incident.

This attack follows a similar event days earlier, when unknown perpetrators smashed the entrance door of the building housing Channel 12 News in Tel Aviv. In that case, it was unclear whether the act targeted the news company or another business in the building, and the motive remains unknown. The Channel 12 incident occurred about a month after threatening graffiti was sprayed near its offices. Channel 12 condemned the violence and urged police to quickly identify those responsible.
