Israel Police Complete Probe Into Minister May Golan on Bribery and Fraud Suspicion
The National Fraud Investigations Unit in Lahav 433 has completed an investigation into Minister for Social Equality May Golan, public officials close to her, and other people involved.
The suspicions include bribery, fraud and breach of trust, obtaining property by fraud under aggravated circumstances, forgery with intent to obtain something, obstructing legal proceedings, and impeding a police officer. The investigation began covertly over several months and in September 2025 became a public investigation with the approval of the Attorney General. Dozens of suspects and witnesses were questioned. The case has been transferred to the Tel Aviv District Attorney’s Office for a decision.
