Tally Gotliv Says Netanyahu Polled Her and Checked How Many Mandates She Is Worth

Against the backdrop of the uproar surrounding her this week, Likud MK Tally Gotliv claimed this morning that Prime Minister Netanyahu conducted a poll about her and checked how many mandates she would be worth if she ran for the Knesset on her own.

(Politics) (Photo: Yonatan Sindel/Flash90) Likud MK Tally Gotliv, who was at the center of headlines this week over hearings in her case in the Knesset, attended by the attorney general, and the opinion regarding her submitted by the Shin Bet, is drawing both supporters and opponents, including within her party. This morning, in an interview with Sivan Cohen on Radio 103FM, Gotliv claimed that Netanyahu checked how many mandates she is "worth" if she were to run alone. "I am worth, thank God, five mandates," Gotliv said. She also addressed reports that the Likud primaries are expected to be canceled, and responded: "He cannot cancel the primaries, that is not his decision, we are not a one-man party."

In the interview, she also sharply attacked the chairman of the Democrats party, Yair Golan. "His place is behind bars," she said. "In his inciting statements against our fighters and the fact that he accuses our soldiers of terrible things in Gaza, he is aiding the enemy during wartime."

Gotliv also responded to MK Eliyahu Revivo, who had previously come out against her. She said: "I do not know who Eli Revivo is, I did not come out against him. He is an anonymous MK, my condolences to him, who needs to use my name so that someone will recognize him. I do not come out against anyone, he does not interest me."
