Tally Gotliv: Netanyahu did a poll, this is how many seats I am worth
MK Tally Gotliv came out strongly against reports that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu intends to cancel the Likud’s internal elections. In an interview today (Thursday) on Radio 103fm, Gotliv made clear that such a move would not go unanswered and expressed firm opposition to changing the party’s voting system.
“I have news for you, there will be primaries. Not even a court can help,” MK Gotliv said in the interview. “Primaries are the glory of the Likud party. This is not the prime minister’s decision, we are not a one-man party.”
“I'm worth five Knesset seats”
Alongside her defense of the primaries in the movement, the MK shared figures she said are in the prime minister’s possession regarding her personal political strength among the Israeli public, and even named a particularly surprising number of seats. “You know what poll the prime minister did about me? How much I’m worth?” Gotliv asked the interviewer and revealed: “I’m worth, thank God, five Knesset seats.”
