Tamir Blatt has agreed to terms with Hapoel Tel Aviv, marking a significant move in Israeli basketball. This development was first revealed by Sport Channel following the earlier transfer of guard Yovel Zoosman from Hapoel to Maccabi Tel Aviv. Blatt, who completed his contract with Maccabi Tel Aviv, had previously received a $900,000 contract offer from his former team but demanded $1.5 million. After Maccabi realized that Zoosman would be leaving, Hapoel officially approached Blatt, and the two sides agreed on a $1.6 million salary for the upcoming season.

In his third season with Maccabi Tel Aviv, Blatt averaged 7.1 points and 5.2 assists in 19.5 minutes per game in the EuroLeague, alongside 9.6 points and 4.5 assists during the Israeli Premier League regular season.
