After a prolonged negotiation, Tamir Blatt has finalized a three-year contract with Hapoel Tel Aviv, the club announced on July 30, 2026. The point guard, who previously played for Maccabi Tel Aviv for the past three seasons and had earlier stints with Hapoel Tel Aviv, will earn $1.6 million annually, comprising $1.1 million in salary and $500,000 in shares. Despite agreeing to terms weeks ago, internal disagreements within Hapoel Tel Aviv regarding Blatt's role delayed the signing. The club has now resolved these issues, confirming Blatt's arrival, although he is expected to be loaned to another team for the upcoming season. Last season in the EuroLeague, Blatt averaged 7.1 points and 5.2 assists in 19.5 minutes per game.
