The Portland Trail Blazers, with Israeli player Deni Avdija, defeated the Phoenix Suns 132-119 on Wednesday night, improving their record to 6-1. Amidst the victory, tensions flared between Blazers players and Phoenix's Dillon Brooks, with recent footage revealing their heated exchanges. Brooks first clashed with Damian Lillard after an incident where Brooks' foot came near Lillard's leg, an area where Lillard had previously suffered a severe injury. Lillard questioned Brooks' action, asking "Why did you kick your foot out for?" Brooks responded defensively, stating he was attempting a shot. Lillard clarified, "After you shot the ball... you almost messed up my foot." Later, Avdija also exchanged words with Brooks. While Avdija was at the free-throw line, Brooks appeared to accuse him of "flopping all game." Avdija retorted, "You're the biggest flopper! I'm better than you. How are you even talking?" This exchange indicated Avdija's refusal to remain passive in response to Brooks' taunts.
