Newly revealed footage captures heated verbal exchanges between NBA players Dillon Brooks and Denny Avdija during a recent game. The Portland Trail Blazers defeated the Phoenix Suns 132-119, improving their record to 6-1. However, the game was marked by tension, particularly between Brooks and members of the Blazers.
One incident involved Brooks and Damian Lillard. Lillard confronted Brooks after Brooks's leg movement near Lillard's previously injured ankle. Lillard questioned Brooks's action, asking why he extended his leg, to which Brooks responded he was attempting a shot. Lillard insisted Brooks almost hit his leg after the shot.
Later, Avdija also exchanged words with Brooks. While Avdija was at the free-throw line, Brooks taunted him, saying, "He's acting all game." Avdija retorted, "You're the biggest actor! I'm better than you. How are you even talking?" Avdija made it clear he would not ignore Brooks's provocations.
