Eight new settlement points have been established in the Hebron Hills region shortly after a terror attack resulted in the deaths of two soldiers, Sergeant Major Ron Yonatan Reitman and Sergeant Yuval Shai Nachum.

Of the new points, six are agricultural farms and two are settlements. The settlements are named 'Migdal' between Negohot and Eshkolot, and 'Nofei Gulot' between Otniel and Afeka. The six farms are named 'Mitzpeh Tzur,' 'Sadeh Noy,' 'Sadeh Lev Amit,' 'Sadeh ASHEL,' 'Lema'an Achai,' and 'Mitzpeh Or.'

According to Minister Bezalel Smotrich, the establishment of these settlements and farms is a "do good" measure to strengthen settlement, alongside "abstain from evil" actions taken recently. These included the evacuation of residents from their homes, similar to what occurred in "refugee camps," and the extensive demolition of illegal Arab structures near the attack site. Minister Smotrich personally oversaw the demolition operations.

Smotrich further stated, "We are continuing the settlement revolution, which includes massive demolition of illegal construction, alongside approving settlements and farms, and strengthening settlement. We must not gamble on party remnants who will form a government that stops this revolution and leads to the establishment of a Palestinian terror state."
