Yinon Recalls Cheese-Filled Bourekas Over Suspected Metal Contamination
Yinon Food Production and Marketing Ltd., the manufacturer of cheese-filled bourekas branded by Rami Levy Shikma Marketing, has initiated a voluntary recall of the product due to suspected presence of foreign metal objects. The affected items include packages weighing 800 grams with barcodes 7290002735847, produced on June 22 and June 24, 2026, with expiration dates of June 22 and June 24, 2027, respectively. The recall is being conducted in coordination with the Central District Food Service of the Ministry of Health. The company is removing the product from all sales channels and urges consumers who have purchased it not to consume the bourekas. Yinon apologized for any inconvenience caused by this issue.
