Trump says Iran launched drones at ships in the Strait of Hormuz, calling it a 'stupid' ceasefire breach
U.S. President Donald Trump said on Truth that Iran sent at least four drones toward ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz. He described the incident as a violation of the ceasefire agreement between the two sides.
According to Trump, one drone struck the upper deck of a large and very expensive cargo ship directly. The ship suffered damage but was able to continue on its route.
Trump added that U.S. forces shot down three of the other drones. He said the attack was a “stupid” breach of the ceasefire deal.
