Maccabi Tel Aviv is still trying to finalize a new contract with Dor Peretz, and no agreement has been reached yet. On Thursday, the club unveiled its new 2026/27 kits, but Peretz was absent from the event because his future remains unresolved.
As of now, there are still gaps between the club and the league’s top scorer. A recent conversation took place between Peretz’s agent, Avi Naimni, and Jack Angelidis, but it did not produce a breakthrough or any final understanding.
The uncertainty comes as Maccabi prepares for the new season. The team is scheduled to leave on Sunday for its training camp, and there is still no answer on whether Peretz will join them.
One person who will be on the camp is the club’s newly appointed Belgian mental coach, Ludo Flores.
