A man in his 30s was killed on Friday in a road accident involving a bus and a car on Highway 458 near Ma'ale Mikhmas, in the Mateh Binyamin Regional Council. MDA (Magen David Adom) emergency medical services pronounced the man dead at the scene. He sustained severe, multi-system trauma.

Paramedic Nadav Tayeb and senior EMT Erez Neuman of MDA described the scene: "The vehicle was crushed with significant body damage, and next to it lay the driver, unconscious, without a pulse or breathing, with very severe injuries to his body. We performed medical examinations but unfortunately, we could only pronounce his death."

This incident follows a fatal crash two days prior on Highway 60 near Beersheba, where a man in his 30s was killed in a collision between two vehicles. Another man, also in his 30s, was moderately injured in that crash and evacuated to Soroka Hospital.
