IDF Detains Suspect Near Kerem Shalom Crossing After Hamas Infiltration Alert
Israeli forces rushed today to the Kerem Shalom crossing area after a suspicion arose that a Hamas operative was present on the Gaza side of the crossing. One unarmed suspect was detained and handed over to security forces for questioning.
The IDF said the circumstances of the incident and the suspect’s identity are still being checked. It stressed that there was no breach into Israeli territory.
