IDF Conducts Searches After Fence Cut Discovered Near Gaza Border Kibbutz Zikim

Earlier this week, the IDF received new directives limiting operations in Gaza to immediate threat removals, with targeted killings requiring approval from the Chief of Staff and political leadership.

Additionally, Shin Bet chief David Zini warned the Security Cabinet last Thursday that Hamas views the roadmap as a political victory akin to the October 7 events, describing it as a deception intended to buy time until after Israeli elections. Zini expressed skepticism about Hamas's purported willingness to disarm, calling it a process of misleading Israel.
