Gaza Incursion: Guard Lets Suspect Flee IDF Post
Disturbing footage has emerged from Gaza showing a suspect infiltrating an Israeli military post. The individual only caught the attention of the guard after already being inside the base. The guard struggled to manage the situation, and the suspect was able to leave the post unharmed. The IDF stated that the incident was investigated and lessons were learned.
In a similar incident in Gaza, a terrorist crossed a boundary and approached an IDF post. Israeli soldiers identified the threat and fired towards the individual, but the suspect fled back into Hamas-controlled territory.
The IDF spokesperson clarified that in neither of the mentioned cases was there an actual breach of a military post. Regarding the first incident, an arrest procedure was carried out, resulting in the suspect's apprehension and transfer for investigation. In the second incident, the suspect was neutralized before reaching the post.
