IDF Detains Unarmed Suspect Near Kerem Shalom Crossing Over Hamas Suspicions
Israeli forces moved today to the Kerem Shalom crossing area after suspicions arose that a Hamas operative was present on the Gaza side of the crossing. One unarmed suspect was detained and handed over to security forces for questioning.
The IDF said the suspect’s identity and the details of the incident are still under review. It also stressed that there was no breach into Israeli territory.
