The Director of the Government Companies Authority, Ro'i Kahlon, has announced the immediate termination of Idan David's tenure as a director at Ayalon Highways. The decision follows an inquiry that uncovered significant discrepancies and suspicions of document forgery submitted to the Appointments Committee.
In his letter, Kahlon stated that David provided information that was not "complete, correct, and true." He further asserted that David's conduct was "incompatible with the integrity and clean hands required of someone serving as a director in a government company, and could harm the public interest."
The Authority's decision comes after David's appointment as chairman of the board was previously revoked. The inquiry reportedly revealed extreme gaps and suspected document falsification.
