Motorcyclist, 19, Dies in Crash Near Eilat
A 19-year-old motorcyclist was killed on Tuesday evening after his vehicle skidded on Highway 12, between Eilat and the Sayarim Junction. Emergency medical services (Magen David Adom) were dispatched to the scene and provided initial treatment, but the rider's injuries were critical, and he was pronounced dead at the site.
Daniell Kotov, a Magen David Adom paramedic, described the scene as "difficult," stating, "We saw the motorcyclist lying beside the road, unconscious, without a pulse or breathing, with very severe injuries to his body." He added that despite their efforts, the injuries were too severe to save the rider.
The Traffic Police have opened an investigation into the circumstances of the accident.
