The "Yash" party, led by Gadi Eisenkot, has issued an urgent legal warning to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, demanding the removal of a campaign video within four hours. The video, posted on Netanyahu's X account, was filmed at the Tel Nof Air Force base with fighter jets in the background.

The party argues that the use of the military base and aircraft for campaign purposes violates Israel's election law, which prohibits the use of public assets for political propaganda. "Yash" contends that the backdrop was not incidental but a deliberate attempt to associate Netanyahu and the Likud party with the strength of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).

Released just 28 days before the upcoming elections, the video's use of what appears to be a security warning has raised deep concerns within the party. "Yash" stated that if the Prime Minister possesses security information requiring public warning, it should be delivered in a state-sanctioned, responsible manner, not as a personal social media post with military hardware as a backdrop.

The party fears this tactic could incite public panic and exploit citizens' anxieties and IDF assets for political gain. "Yash" has demanded the video be removed from all accounts controlled by Netanyahu and the Likud. Failure to comply within the specified timeframe will prompt the party to seek an immediate injunction from the Chairman of the Central Elections Committee and request legal costs.
