IDF Destroys Hezbollah Infrastructure in Southern Lebanon

The Israeli military announced the completion of a significant operation in southern Lebanon, during which forces destroyed over 600 Hezbollah terror infrastructures. The operation, conducted by the 55th Brigade under the command of Division 91, focused on the security zone along the border.

During the mission, Israeli forces, in collaboration with the Yahalom special engineering unit, identified and destroyed eight underground tunnels. Additionally, dozens of rocket launchers, prepared before the current ceasefire agreement, were discovered and neutralized. Just two weeks prior, the same brigade had found and dismantled launchers containing 32 rockets aimed at Israel.

The recent operation included a brigade-level maneuver in the village of Al-Mansouri, aimed at preventing Hezbollah's re-establishment in the area. Within a civilian home in Al-Mansouri, forces uncovered and destroyed a Hezbollah underground tunnel, releasing footage of the tunnel and their operations.

This activity is part of Division 91's ongoing efforts in southern Lebanon. Earlier in the month, the division reported locating anti-tank missiles, launchers, explosives, grenades, and weapons, alongside the destruction of Hezbollah infrastructure found within civilian facilities.

The IDF stated its commitment to preventing Hezbollah from harming Israeli civilians and forces, vowing to continue operations to neutralize threats while adhering to the ceasefire agreement.
