IDF Destroys Hezbollah Terror Tunnels, Infrastructure in Southern Lebanon
Israeli forces have completed a focused operation in the Al Mansouri area of southern Lebanon, aimed at dismantling Hezbollah's infrastructure and preventing its re-establishment in the region. The operation, conducted by the 55th Brigade Combat Team under the command of Division 91, resulted in the destruction of over 600 terror infrastructures.
Key among the successes was the neutralization and destruction of eight terror tunnels used by Hezbollah. In a notable discovery, soldiers uncovered a tunnel network hidden beneath a residential building in Al Mansouri. This subterranean facility was also destroyed by the forces.
During the operation, Israeli troops also located dozens of rocket launchers that had been left in the security zone prior to the current ceasefire agreement. The operation sought to neutralize threats to Israel and disrupt Hezbollah's military presence.
