Investigative Journalist Raviv Drucker Questioned by Police Over Traffic Violation
Investigative journalist Raviv Drucker was questioned by the police's traffic division on Monday following the release of a video on social media showing him allegedly committing a traffic offense while broadcasting. The footage, which appeared on his program "HaMakor" (The Source), shows Drucker seemingly speaking on his mobile phone while driving.
The organization "Tzelem" filed a complaint with the Second Authority for Television and Radio regarding the incident. A spokesperson for Tzelem stated, "This is an extremely serious offense that endangers human lives. We welcome the immediate steps taken by the Israel Police but simultaneously demand that the Second Authority impose a massive fine of hundreds of thousands of shekels for this incident. This involves risking human lives and cannot be ignored."
