Israeli Journalist Raviv Drucker Questioned by Police Over Driving Video

Renowned Israeli television journalist Raviv Drucker was questioned by the police's traffic division following the emergence of a video on social media allegedly showing him using a mobile phone while driving. The suspected traffic violation was apparently captured by a camera during Drucker's journalistic work. The video, which later circulated online, shows the journalist holding and seemingly using a mobile phone while operating a vehicle. The publication of the video sparked a strong reaction on social media, leading to a complaint filed against Drucker with the police.

The police confirmed they had received the video and forwarded it for examination to the traffic division. Drucker was subsequently summoned for questioning to clarify the circumstances of the incident and to legally assess the actions recorded on the video. The video originated from footage related to the investigative program "HaMakor" ("The Source"), which airs on Channel 13. It is believed the recording was made while Drucker was preparing for the program.

Further police decisions following the interrogation have not yet been announced. If the violation is confirmed, Drucker could face a significant fine and potentially receive 10 penalty points on his driving record.
