Israir Expands Summer 2027 Flights to Four New European Destinations

Israeli airline Israir is significantly expanding its international flight offerings for the Spring-Summer 2027 season, adding four new destinations in Europe. The airline plans to operate direct flights to Split, Croatia; Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina; Bologna, Italy; and Preveza, Greece. This expansion brings Israir's total international destinations to over 41 across 24 countries, in addition to its domestic routes to Eilat.

The airline aims to increase its passenger numbers to 3 million by growing operations on existing routes and introducing new ones. Split, a coastal city in Dalmatia, offers beaches and historical sites, serving as a gateway to the Adriatic islands. Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, presents a blend of Eastern and Western influences, with historical sites and Jewish heritage locations. Bologna, known for its culinary scene, will provide access to Northern Italy, while Preveza in Greece offers a less crowded option on the Ionian Sea, suitable for exploring the Epirus region.

In addition to these new routes, Israir will increase flight frequencies to popular existing destinations, including New York, London, Basel, Vilnius, Malaga, Zanzibar, Morocco, Dubai, and Baku. The airline also detailed an extensive list of European cities it will serve, such as Rome, Budapest, Prague, Berlin, and numerous Greek islands.

Israir is also pursuing long-haul routes to Tokyo and Miami, but these are still pending necessary approvals and are not yet confirmed for the Summer 2027 schedule. The company is currently offering attractive prices for early bookings for the 2027 spring and summer holidays.
