12-Year-Old Critically Injured in Electric Scooter Accident
A serious traffic accident occurred overnight on Elazar Kaplan Street in the city of Azor, where a 12-year-old boy riding an electric scooter was struck by a private vehicle. The child was evacuated to Sheba Medical Center at Tel HaShomer in critical condition, with impaired consciousness and suffering from multi-system trauma.
MDA (Magen David Adom) teams quickly arrived at the scene and provided life-saving medical treatment. MDA paramedic Lihi Golan and senior medic Elior Yosef described the scene: "The child, the scooter rider, was lying on the road after being hit by a vehicle. We provided him with initial medical treatment, including stopping bleeding and administering medication, and evacuated him in a mobile intensive care unit to the hospital in serious but stable condition, with impaired consciousness."
