Ten-Year-Old Critically Injured in Ashdod Electric Scooter Accident
A 10-year-old boy sustained critical injuries on Sunday after falling from an electric scooter while riding on Jerusalem Boulevard in Ashdod. Paramedics from Magen David Adom provided life-saving medical treatment at the scene. The child was then transported by a mobile intensive care unit to Assuta Hospital in Ashdod. He was reportedly in a confused state and suffering from severe head and limb injuries.
"The boy was lying on the sidewalk, conscious but confused, and suffering from severe injuries to his body after falling while riding an electric scooter," said MDA paramedic Simcha Hassid. "We provided him with life-saving medical treatment and evacuated him by Magen David Adom's mobile intensive care unit to the hospital in serious condition."
