Israel Achieves 8 Medals at Gymnastics World Championships

Israel concluded the World Acrobatics Championships in Pesaro, Italy, with an impressive haul of eight medals, including five gold and three silver. In the final day of competition, Shiraz Sokolovsky and Roni Cohen secured two gold medals, one in the Balance routine and another in the Combined routine, adding to their earlier gold in the Dynamic routine. Their performance earned them a 'triple gold' in the championship.

Another notable achievement came from Liad Madar, Eran Rodnai, Liran Cohen, and Yevgeny Pinchukov, who were crowned world champions in the Combined routine and also earned a silver medal in the Dynamic routine. They finished fourth in the Balance routine.

Noam Ronen, Noa Yifrah, and Mari Ovadia won a silver medal in the Balance routine final. Rotem Wolf and Yotam Kalomel placed fourth in the Dynamic routine and seventh in the Combined routine. Uri Dekel, Roni Rotman, and Ard Avir Deutsch secured a silver medal in the Dynamic routine, finishing ninth in the Combined routine.

These individual and pair achievements added to the team's earlier gold medal in the Team Award competition, where Israel outscored Russia and the United States. The Israeli delegation's success at the championships was celebrated by the Israeli Gymnastics Association.

"What a championship and what a team," said Avi Sagie, Chairman of the Israeli Gymnastics Association. "Our gymnasts brought skill, determination, and a lot of heart to Pesaro, providing us time and again with unforgettable moments of Israeli pride. Huge congratulations to the entire delegation on a historic and exciting World Championship."

Ronnie Dinman and Ventura, CEO of the Israeli Gymnastics Association, highlighted that the total medal count, including 13 medals from junior competitions, solidifies Israel's position as an international acrobatics powerhouse.
