El Al Pilot Slams Passengers for Leaving Plane in Disarray

An El Al pilot has publicly expressed his dismay over the condition passengers left a plane in after a flight, sharing a video of the messy cabin on Instagram. Captain Meidan Bar, a former chairman of the Pilots Association, filmed the aftermath of a flight showing seats and the floor littered with papers, wrappers, and snack bags.

"Why does a plane have to look like this? I really can't understand," Bar said in the video, walking through the aisles of the aircraft. He noted that the flight was only three hours long. The video quickly garnered hundreds of thousands of views and sparked widespread discussion.

Many commenters suggested imposing fines on passengers who leave their trash behind. However, one commenter argued that the issue isn't exclusive to Israelis, stating, "Stop with the stories about Israelis. I've flown with many airlines, and foreigners behave this way too. It all depends on upbringing."

This incident follows a similar one reported two months prior by Tali Cohen, a digital nomad and travel blogger. After an El Al flight to Switzerland, she documented a plane strewn with plastic cups, duty-free bags, and food remnants on the floor, describing the scene as "sad" and a "mess."
