Giant Pizza Complex Opens Free to Public at Rishon LeZion Festival

Rishon LeZion is set to host a significant culinary event during the intermediate days of Sukkot, with the launch of "Pizza City," a large complex located in Gan HaMoshavah. The venue will operate on September 29-30, opening daily at 6:00 PM, and will offer completely free admission.

The culinary hub is spearheaded by Lotus Group, led by entrepreneur Michael Halfon, in collaboration with Hofit Bohdana Kipnis and Adi Ben Dan. It will feature three prominent Israeli chefs: Tomer Agai, Oren Asido, and Avi Biton. Each chef will operate their own stand, presenting unique pizza creations specifically developed for the festival.

Beyond the chefs' offerings, "Pizza City" aims to provide a comprehensive Italian experience. This includes bars serving cocktails, Italian ice cream, tiramisu, workshops for children, and a professional competition to crown "Pizzaolo Israel."

"We wanted to create a culinary experience that is an event in itself, where the culinary aspect is an integral part of the entertainment," stated Michael Halfon, owner of Lotus Group. He added, "The connection with leading chefs allows us to bring different worlds together in one place, with each of them taking the familiar and beloved pizza to a completely personal place."

The culinary attraction is part of a broader festival taking place throughout Rishon LeZion. The festival will also include a lineup of special performances, featuring Amir Benayoun with Nissim Sarusi, Harel Skaat with Gali Atari, and a special production titled "75 Is Not a Joke," dedicated to Yardena Arazi on her 75th birthday, with participation from Rotem Abuhav, Alma Zak, Miki Kam, Hanna Laslo, and Odia Koren.
