Israel Weather Forecast: Rain Expected Mid-Week, Cooler Temperatures

Pleasant weather will continue into the first two days of the intermediate days of the Passover holiday, allowing for outdoor activities. However, the Israel Meteorological Service has issued an update predicting a significant change later in the week.

Beginning Monday evening, and particularly on Tuesday and Wednesday, localized rainfall is expected in northern Israel. Updated models indicate that the precipitation may also reach the central region. The Meteorological Service noted that the rain could be intense in some areas for short periods, especially on Wednesday.

Alongside the expected rainfall, temperatures will drop on Wednesday, continuing into the second intermediate day of the holiday. Mountainous areas and Jerusalem will see highs of only 23 degrees Celsius (73.4 Fahrenheit), the lowest temperatures recorded in these regions since last spring.

Initial forecasts suggest that more significant rainfall may return during the second intermediate days of the holiday. However, due to the extended forecast period, the public is advised to stay updated on any changes to the weather predictions.
