IDF Strikes Hezbollah Arms Depot in Lebanon, Eliminates Hamas Commander in Gaza

The Israeli military conducted an airstrike on Saturday in the Sijoud area of southern Lebanon, targeting a Hezbollah weapons depot. The strike was carried out to neutralize an immediate threat, as the facility stored weapons used to attack and disrupt IDF forces operating in the security zone. The IDF stated its commitment to the agreement between Israel and Lebanon but warned that any use of force from Lebanese territory to harm civilians or soldiers would be met with a powerful response.

In parallel, on Friday, two Hamas operatives were eliminated in separate strikes in the Gaza Strip. In the Nuseirat area, Ibrahim Fuzi Ismail Mahsan, identified as a Nukhba battalion commander in Hamas's military wing, was killed. Another operative, Muhammad Kamel Suleiman Mohsen, also a member of the military wing, was eliminated in Khan Younis. These targeted killings followed intelligence indicating that both operatives were advancing terror plans against Israeli civilians and forces and were working to restore Hamas's military capabilities, systematically violating the ceasefire agreement. Southern Command forces remain deployed in the area and will continue to operate to remove any threats.
