Israel Strikes Hezbollah Weapons Cache in Southern Lebanon
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced Saturday that it targeted and destroyed a Hezbollah weapons storage facility in the Sgoud area of southern Lebanon. The strike was carried out to neutralize an immediate threat posed by munitions stored at the site, which the IDF stated were being used to target Israeli forces operating in the security zone and disrupt their activities.
The IDF emphasized its commitment to removing immediate threats and vowed a strong response to any future attacks originating from Lebanese territory aimed at Israeli civilians or soldiers. The military also reiterated its adherence to the agreement between Israel and Lebanon.
